This new crossover will be larger than the compact Trax and midsize Equinox, but smaller than the full-size Traverse. Many in the automotive community believe that Chevy will revive the Blazer model name for this new CUV. The Blazer is expected to be built on the same platform as the Traverse, with the option of two or three rows of seating. That sounds like the perfect combination for maximizing cargo room and comfort while maintaining great fuel efficiency and performance. The Blazer is expected to arrive in time for the 2018 model year, so that means an official announcement should be coming soon.
